So...
School is killing us right now..no big trips fishing planned for the rest of the year..atleast for me..im sure mike will get to go somewhere legit.
weve been fishing a little closer to home lately..and still having a fantastic time.

Fall
Hoppers are so hot right now. This post is gunna be short so people can handle the quickness at which our updates are coming. Two in one month is pretty impressive.
It is finally that wonderful time of year, school has started, the days are getting shorter, and COLDER. Yup only a couple short months till our mountains are covered in fluffy white pow. Maybe less???
The fishing is still good, and even heating up in some places, but with school started it is going to be hard to get out. Luckily I just got back from an awesome trip with my Pops and Trever. Even managed to nab some shots for an edit. Not the best but I managed to get some pretty sweet underwater shots. None of it would have been possible without Peter Fitts, who lent me his Go Pro. What a swell guy.
Aaaannndddd here it is.. It does lack the artsy flair only a true hipster like Trever can provide, but I hope you enjoy it.

Tropical
Well I'll start off by saying I could not be more thrilled about Trever creating this blog. Anyone who is anyone is blogging these days. If there is a better way to share your feelings, or most recent genius with the world I sure haven’t found it.
So here’s the stuff you really don’t care about. This past week was my 3rd in a row fishing this summer, and one of the best. The fish on the Green are finally looking up thanks to this warm weather, and some Yellow Sally’s were hatching off like crazy. This is nice because we like to keep it ignant by throwing dries no matter what the fish are hitting. Floating the Green River in my pontoon boat has been one of my favorite activities since I was 12, and I still feel there is nothing like catching healthy browns all day on such a beautiful stretch of water.
Trever came to meet up with me on Friday, but due to his recent skateboarding injury he was not up to floating the river. It takes a good friend to pass up a 30+ fish day on the Green, but I’m sure he would do the same for me. This upset is also softened by the fact we went to fish what has become one of my favorite new Rivers. And as always we had a great day catching some beautiful Rainbows.
The only downside is our frequent snake sightings, and there is nothing to keep you on your toes like an 8-foot rattlesnake in the middle of the trail, and I know it made Trever as jumpy as me. Especially after what happened next. He was just starting to fish in some nice pocket water when I heard him scream like a little girl. I looked down to see him pounding his thigh with one hand while throwing his fly rod in the air as he fell back onto the bank. “There is a snake in my pants, there is a rattlesnake in my pants.” Sure enough I could see the outline of something thanks to his gypsy tight pants. Then he screamed again, “It bit me!” I panicked not knowing what to do, and told him to take his pants off (No Homo). He began to slide out of his unbelievably tight pants and all I could think about was what I was going to do if he really got bit by a rattle snake, even best case scenario I wouldn’t be able to fish for the rest of the day. That is when I saw something slide out of his pant leg and splash into the water. It was silver and I soon realized it was his leatherman. Both of us enjoyed a good laugh, but I couldn’t help thinking what if it really was a snake, or better yet how the hell his leatherman got into his pants.
